TWCDC is a Fair Trade non-governmental organization registered at Kathmandu District Administration office. It has been established as a platform for e-learning, e-marketing and micro enterprise development focusing support to artisans and handicraft producers. It has adopted multi facet approach to contribute micro enterprise development that is geared towards creation of fair enterprises and jobs for needy people of Nepal. It helps transfer skills on information technology such as e-commerce and adopt it to the use of local need while promoting sustainable business through providing professional services and handicraft products marketing. It has two main income earning wings handicrafts selling and web design, hosting and training center that supports it activities. It has been exporting handicrafts items to mainly to USA , Europe and Asia Pacific region and seeking marketing for other parts of the world. It designs and host web store for many global clients.

TWCDC practices code of conduct of fair trade by empowring artisans and producers so that they are more proactive on their own decision making process in terms setting up prices for their products, accessing marketing and sensitive to environmental and safety issue. It runs several programs such as handicraft store at Kathmandu , online store for wholesale and retail export, handicraft production unit, information technology unit to help artisans design their website and host to its server. It also provides web design and hosting services to global clients at reasonable cost. We are using several web store building tools such as OScommerce, ZenCart, Joomla, OpenEntry for complete B2B and B2C sites. We have partnered with OpenEntry/PEOPlink , USA to run support office to serve global clients including members of world fair trade organization.
